18th Century George II Walnut Chest on Stand
A handsome 18th century George III chest on stand containing three under two graduated drawers with brass pulls, Quartered Oak interior. Walnut and feather banding veneer work on the drawers. One single hidden top drawer. The stand is made of walnut and rests on five turned legs. The chest rests on top of the stand. Measures: 62.75" height 39" wide 21.5" deep Circa 1740-1760.

Repaired: The base seems to be a 19th Century replacement to the cabinet. I suspect that this was originally a chest on chest. The base has been dissembled and re-glued to restore stability to the cabinet.
