18th Century Massachusetts Queen Anne Highboy
Featured in a very handsome and well preserved example of a middle 18th century New England high boy. The back is inscribed with " Will Chase, Somerville Mass" The cabinet is built with white pine and maple wood. The upper cabinet is fitted with five graduated drawers. The lower case is fitted with three shallow short drawers under one centre long drawer. The cabinet is fitted with the original brass pulls. The tall cabriole legs terminate in pad feet resting on smaller pads. The maple wood shows good age and patina. The case itself is in excellent condition. All of the locks are present however there is no key to accompany. We have waxed the exterior woods and lightly cleaned the brass. This item is ready to showcase your space.
